Medicine Can't Work Well in the Space

The drugs do not work properly when used in space environment. Radiation is a part of the problem. Several causes in the space can’t find in the earth. Radiation, vibration, small gravitation, and the environment that rich of carbon dioxide, and other variation of humidity and temperature have potential risk. To make knowledge on these cases, researcher takes 35 kinds of medicines to the space, to the international space station.

At the same time, they save a drug with ideal conditions at the Johnson Space Center. Drugs that are stored in space returned within different time. There are back after two weeks, one returned two years later. As a result, no matter how the duration of these drugs in space, reducing the effectiveness of the drug decreased drastically compared with that stored in ideal conditions.

With these findings, researchers conclude that drugs made in the Earth can not be used in long-term space missions, such as the first human mission to Mars. Drugs must be modified in advance in order to stand on space.
