Scabies Medicine

Scabies is the skin diseases caused by mite Sacroptes scabiei. Sarcoptes scabiei can be found in the tunnel of epidermis layer. Although it has long been known, the disease difficult to overcome, especially if the epidemic.


Predilection places in adults, according to Mellanby is as follows:

• Stomach
• Axils

Variation of scabies:

1. Scabies in the clean
2. Scabies incognito
3. Scabies nodular
4. Animals transmitted Scabies
5. Scabies in baby and child
6. Crutes scabies

Medicine:

Gamma Benzene Hexachloride (GBH) paste or lotion many in use effectively. Unfortunately this GBH can cause acute toxic in the central nervous system, so recommended don’t give to a baby, child or mother in pregnant. Use this medicine just one, smeared to the entire body is left for 8 to 12 hours and repeated after 1 week.

Traditional Medicine:

• Sulfur 4 – 10% is safe for baby and kid, the same treatment as GBH, smeared to the entire body and repeated for 3 fill.
• Benzyl benzoate Emulsion 15 – 25%, but this chemicals rare use.
